Environmental Protection/Economic Development:

Legislation that would require that by 2021, 15% of the electricity provided by Missouri utilities come from renewable sources such as wind and solar.

Tax reform:

Allowing corporate and individual income tax paid to the federal government to be fully deductible from state income taxes.

Supports tax incentives that create new jobs in Missouri

Supports elimination of double taxation

Elimination of drive by property tax assessments

Closing corporate tax loopholes and combined reporting that allows businesses and individuals to avoid paying their fair share of taxes.

Require a Budget Accountability Report Card to show taxpayers where their dollars are spent

Health Care Reform:

Support staffing incentives for providers in underserved areas. Grants for educating nurses to alleviate the nursing shortage

Streamlining the paperwork process to eliminate duplication of services by multiple agencies.

Expanding access to family planning services for low-income women and greater
access to Emergency Contraception (Plan B) without discrimination or delay.

Strengthening our current sex education laws to make them age appropriate and
require medically and factually accurate information about contraception, allow
school districts to make decisions about instructors and allow parents to opt their child out.

Restoring Medicaid coverage to the more than 100,000 low-income individuals whose health care was completely cut in 2005

Provide tax incentives for employers who provide health insurance.
